The Apprenticeship Program of the Pinellas Association of PHCC (Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors) is now accepting applications for the first year apprentice class. Interviews will be scheduled for incoming students in mid August at the St. Petersburg Campus of the Pinellas Technical College (PTC); formerly (PETC), located at 901 34th St. South. The PHCC Pinellas Apprenticeship Program is a four-year Florida Department of Education registered program. All apprentices must be sponsored by their employer, attend evening classes, and verify on-the-job training. The 2020-21 classes are scheduled at the St. Petersburg Campus of the Pinellas Technical College (PTC) located at 901 34th St. South on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6 PM. Classes will begin on September 8th for all students starting with an orientation of what is expected of students.

The annual fee for members is $900; Non-members is $1800. That's a $900 savings per apprentice for PHCC Pinellas members. The PHCC Pinellas is offering a successful four year apprenticeship program. We are looking for potential apprentices and we are also looking for plumbing contractors who will sponsor potential apprentices.If you are a plumbing contractor reading this, please support an apprentice today! You must be at least 18 years of age and physically capable of doing the work. The classes are held at Pinellas Technical College (PTC) on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30-9:00PM. At Graduation you will receive a certificate that will be recognized all over the U.S.! Pinellas Technical College will award 24 credits for the completion of the four year program.
